Owl’s Head Music (BMI) is a publishing company dedicated to traditional and modern world music, and world jazz.
Owl’s Head controls and administers the majority of compositions on the Music of the World, Latitudes and Nomad record labels, and negotiates synchronization rights to use these compositions for broadcast, television, film, commercial recordings, multimedia, internet streaming and downloads.
The music catalog features over 500 traditional and contemporary compositions from Africa, India, The Middle East, Asia, and Latin America, plus Native American, American roots music, and world-influenced jazz.

Music of the World
Music of the World is a record label specializing in traditional and contemporary world music. The label produced almost 100 titles on compact disc until the year 2000, many of which are featured at the “Recordings” menu above. In 2005 the label was acquired by digital distributor The Orchard, and all tracks and albums in the catalog are available for streaming on major music sites such as Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, Pandora, etc.
